Just one question, in that short lighting episode, are you using that translucent panel in front of the light that creates the short lighting effect as some sort of diffuser? Five hundred to 600 watts would be better if your lamp is rated to take that kind of wattage. Also, don't forget to white balance for the tungsten bulbs! We plan on having an episode in the near future that will demonstrate the use of very inexpensive lighting for your portraits (About $30 per light with the bulb).
