Excellent work. A little disappointed that there was no photo critiques but other wise it was pretty good.
Be careful of trusting cardboard gray cards for color balance. Painted or dyed cards are meant for exposure use, not color correction. They are rarely true neutral gray. I have several and they all have a color cast to them, especially the older they get.
I trust products like WhiBal and such in my post processing to get true real-world readings during a shoot.
Other tips were spot on.
If you are going to use cardboard or plastic gray cards, make sure they are for digital if you are shooting digital, as they will be true neutral gray for R, G and B channels when doing your custom white balance or post production.

Great stuff as usual.. I would also like to have seen some critiques but we can’t have everything. I have used cardboard gray cards for doing a color balance before without any adverse effects, I guess I will have to look at this though.
I am wondering about the lighting you have to use though.
The gray cards seem great but I’ve run into situations where there was too much “yellow” ambient lighting.
I have enjoyed watching your videos and look forward to more!

I’d like to say you videos are great, but when I tried to watch video #10 I get “An invalid public movie atom was found in the movie.” message. When I download it via iTunes it just doesn’t play at all. I’m using an intel iMac and any help is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Henrique.

Having trouble downloading episode 10 from Itunes. it Tries and looks like it completes and then says the file is either corrupt or not a format Itunes can play?
